Carrying My Own Canoe
Words by Hatie Parmeter. “Do you need some help with that?” a well-meaning middle age dad asked me as I walked into the lake at the end of a portage. On Being Women (or Girls) in the Wild
We asked some of our fellow outdoor gals to tell us their "Nature Is Female" story. What it's like for them to be females in the wild. What nature means to them. What memories they have of the outdoors. How nature has shaped them.
We hope you enjoy these stories, learn from them, and connect with them.
Nature Is Female
One thing you might not know about us is that we’re a women-owned company. That’s right, Warbler was founded by two gals! Gals who enjoy spending time outside: hiking, biking, kayaking, snowboarding, canoeing, camping, and more.
To honor both Mother Nature and women’s equal place in the outdoors, we’ve released a new line of goods, our Nature Is Female line.
Our First-Ever Public Lands Pledge Donations
At the beginning of 2017, we launched our Public Lands Pledge initiative. So every time you've bought one of our products, we made a promise to donate a portion of each purchase to organizations that support our national parks, state parks, or other beautiful outdoor spaces. As we've said time and time again, we value transparency and accountability, so we want you to know that we've followed through on our promise.

So in our home state of Wisconsin, we try to marry the beauty of the Midwest with any elevation we can find, and one of the best places to do this is at Devil’s Lake State Park.
